Frontier Duo

Frontier Duo profiles have been designed for use where
wood, wood laminate or ceramic materials are being used
on stairs.Duo can be used in two ways. Firstly when
used with flooring materials up to 16mm thick the
Duo section is fitted onto the tread plate with the
riser board fitted into the nose (Fig 1). This option
works equally well with ceramic floortiles. Secondly
with wood and laminates up to 22mm thick, the
Duoprofile is fixed over the fitted tread and riser
materials and a pre-finished hardwood fillet is
fixed into the nosing section (Fig 2). This masks the
screw heads, concealing the fixing to provide a pleasing finish.
